Moving to a new house has slid down on my list of favorite things. It wasn't exactly at the top of the list to start with, but now it's a few notches lower. So I've decided to take a break from the unpacking, organizing and furniture arranging to share a set of cards I made a few weeks ago.
Supplies (all Stampin' Up!):
Stamps: A Little Bit of Happiness
Card stock: Whisper White, note cards and envelopes
Ink: Jet Black Stazon pad; Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky, Wisteria Wonder, Basic Black markers
Accessories: Color spritzer tool, Subtles Candy Dots, Dimensionals, Mono Multi liquid glue
The four stamps in the A Little Bit of Happiness set contain a horizontal line of images (see the card in my last post for an example). For this eight-card set (two of each design pictured) I stamped each long image twice, colored them and cut apart the smaller pictures. I arranged the small pieces in a square and adhered them to the lower right corner of a card base, which I had spritzed with Soft Sky ink. I added one Candy Dot on each card and then, to coordinate with the border around each small image, I doodled a Basic Black border around the card base.
I had at least one small image leftover from each card, so I added them to the lower left corner of the envelopes. I don't usually spend time decorating envelopes because they just get ripped open and tossed, but this was very quick and easy, and I really like how they coordinate with the cards.
Well, my craft "zone," as my sister has dubbed it, is probably the most organized place in the house right now. Yay! I'm hoping I'll be able to get back to stamping and card-making soon so I'll have new creations to share with you. Until then, thanks for stopping by!
